The SKY-TRUCK unmanned helicopter is a unique unmanned aircraft system developed by the Unmanned Helicopters Design Bureau (UAVHELI), which has no analogues in the world.
The SKY-TRUCK can fly with a range of up to 480 km, stay in the air for 4 hours and carry 600 kg of cargo using an AIR BOX transport container installed under the fuselage.
Initially, the helicopter was designed to deliver cargo to hard-to-reach places, such as offshore oil production platforms. But later, the developers of the Design Bureau increased the functionality of the machine. Now the SKY-TRUCK unmanned helicopter can solve an even wider range of cargo transportation tasks, including such as the delivery of vital medical supplies, food or parts for continuous production - and all this without the risk of crew death.
As for the engine, at the initial stages, the unmanned aerial vehicle was designed for the Russian VK-650 engine, but later it was decided to adapt it to a wider range of power plants, including Rolls-Royce 250-C20, Rolls-Royce 250-C30, Rolls-Royce 250-C47.
Such variability and functionality, previously inaccessible to the unmanned sphere, is designed to ensure a high demand for the unique Belarusian development on the world market.
